TOFU OAT MISO SOUP

Cozy up with a warm bowl of savory miso soup—and add Quaker Oats to make it extra thick and filling!

Ingredients
  • 2 ½ cups hot water
  • 1 tsp. dashi powder
  • 1 ½ Tbsps. miso paste
  • ½ (4oz.) silken tofu, diced into cubes
  • 2 stalks spring onion, sliced into 1 cm pieces
  • 10 Tbsps. Quaker Instant / Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1⁄4 tsp. salt
Procedure
  1. In a medium pan over a medium-high flame, combine dashi powder with 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add in miso paste, tofu and half the spring onions and cook over a medium high flame for about 1 minute.
  3. In another pan, mix oats with 1 ½ cups of water and cook over a medium flame until the porridge thickens and is cooked. Add the miso soup to the oat mixture and stir gently.
  4. Add the miso soup to the oat mixture and stir gently.
  5. Dish out into four bowls, garnish with the remaining spring onions and serve immediately.
