Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups hot water
- 1 tsp. dashi powder
- 1 ½ Tbsps. miso paste
- ½ (4oz.) silken tofu, diced into cubes
- 2 stalks spring onion, sliced into 1 cm pieces
- 10 Tbsps. Quaker Instant / Quick Cooking Oats
- 1⁄4 tsp. salt
Procedure
- In a medium pan over a medium-high flame, combine dashi powder with 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.
- Add in miso paste, tofu and half the spring onions and cook over a medium high flame for about 1 minute.
- In another pan, mix oats with 1 ½ cups of water and cook over a medium flame until the porridge thickens and is cooked. Add the miso soup to the oat mixture and stir gently.
- Add the miso soup to the oat mixture and stir gently.
- Dish out into four bowls, garnish with the remaining spring onions and serve immediately.
